The Physician Associate (PA) course at the University of Birmingham is currently looking for GP practices to provide PA placements for their students.
As well as providing teaching to the students, this is a great opportunity for practices to obtain a greater understanding of the PA role and how this can be integrated into your clinical workforce. Alternatively, if you have a PA currently employed in your PCN, this is a good opportunity for them to be involved in teaching and mentoring.
As you are aware, general practice is changing, growing nd adapting, not only for patients wishing to make appointments, but also through advances in medicine, reatment and technology.
The QNI has created a short survey, designed to understand more about the impact of Covid19 on the role of General Practice Nurses: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/K6TGLSN
The survey should only take 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
